Thread Starter | Scott , Frank , Chris - Amp Sims and Metal...
Hi Gentlemen, Straight up question as I'm somewhat jaded by claims like Line 6 makes ("POD heard on bazillions of platinum records"... to which I've never seen any reliable proof...) Can, are, or have digital amp sims actually been used successfully for up front "feature" guitar tracks on metal and classic rock recordings that have actually charted? Can you point any out? If so, what engineering, mixing, etc. is required to get them to do the job? |
