Souls Alike

Hi Tchad and thanks for taking the time out to shed some light on your expertise.

Bonnie Raitt's "Souls Alike" album sounds amazing to me. Very Vintage and Vibey I would say. I read that she produced the album alongside yourself. How was it working with her and were there any techniques that you opened her up to, to achieve the sounds that were in her head?

Also were the songs crafted in the studio or were they the result of her touring and trying new things. It really sounds like a live band setting up and playing together, and reacting to each person's personality.

Nice album and thanks again.

They toured those songs and rehersed a fare amount before coming in the studio.
Bonnie is extremely professional and expects a lot in the studio when working. She can be very hard on herself and everyone else but is always, always, appreciative.
Great musicians. What could happen?
