Hello Kiddies: I have just finished setting up the studio and we are experimenting with drum tones. Last we tried just 4 mics. One ribbon over the kit slightly right of center. 3 LDC's one about 1:30 at 4' high, one at 10:30 4' high and one left of center 3' high. The room sounds warm and the tones are good but the snare and crashes seems a little loud as apposed to the rest of the kit. Any suggestions on how to dial it in. I do like the tone of the console though. Thanks |
