Thread Starter | jangly roses guitar hello john, an honour to be able to put this question to you.... we're recording our forst record at the moment, on a very tight budget....i have a feeling you're going to say, 'you have to put the right gear IN to get the right sound OUT'.... but, we simply dont have rickenbacker 12 strings etc....we've recorded the guitar for one of the songs (a jagmaster in to a vox ac15 mic'd with a sm57 and a sontronics sigma) but its not sounding right and i want it to sound really jangly, like some of that roses album/byrds etc.....any tips you can suggest with fx/amp sims (i have gtr3)..... by the way, the stone roses album has been in my top 5 since i was 15.....amazing, thankyou. |
