Thread Starter | Learning new gear So say some new piece of gear makes its way into the studio--how much time/effort is involved with learning it: seeing where the sweet spot is, what instruments or applications you feel its best for? | when I get a toy sent to me to try out, I hope I don't like it, my assistants pray I don't like it, but it's not always the case. As in the culture vulture. I just play with it for a week or two and if I find no use for it or it's similar to something else, I return it. When it comes to efxs boxes, I have enough so I don't really look for more. But when it comes to compressors..... |
