John Lennon mic technique

Hi Jay,

Can you tell us anything about John's mic technique?
Also, which mic(s) did he use for Double Fantasy and which compressor(s)?
Did he track vocals in the vocal booth on the 10th floor (adjacent to the control room)?

Thanks!

I did not record Double Fantasy, so I don't know what mics were used. Most of the tracks were recorded at Hit Factory. I remixed that record in 2010 with producer Jack Douglas.
