Phil, I bought your book...

While many others were aware of your career I was not.
After reading your comments here I purchased your book on Amazon 3 days ago and have already finished it.
It's a fantastic read for studio geeks and wannabes alike.

I especially appreciated your insight on how much the business changed at the dawn of the 80s with not only the advent of punk, the rise of samplers, but also the arrival of "middle management" at the labels. Not many people remember that when they talk about the factors that eventually killed the business.

Thanks again for taking the time to do this Q&A.
