Thread Starter | Daves Vice President: What advice for your temp replacement? Hey Dave, Lets say you couldn't make it for a high profile tracking gig. All the equipment is there but you are not. Since I'm you're favorite coffee maker/GoFer and (... it's a Holiday, yeah, holiday) no one else is there except the Artist, what are the most important things I do right - in order for you to say "that's the person I picked in my absence" and "that person got done what matters most"? Your disciple, Joey (If I need Waves plugins for the job, then I hope the powers that be hook me up for having the best question this month

| Wow, Joey, that is tuff. I would hope he had your new GOGGLES! (see above thread). The boring answer would be that he was honest with the client about his experience, and just did the best he could. My pet peave (sic) is assistants being to slow or proud to ask for help. If there is something you can't do, get on the phone and ask someone. |
