Low end?

Dave, would you say your background as a geologist has helped you achieve a solid low end in your mixes?

And how do you differentiate untwinned plagioclase from k-spar without relying on thin sections and crossed polars?

Wow, geology background. Nice.

I could never get people who teased me about being a cook to understand this concept.

I used to be a postman (no joke),
does that helps me "deliver" my goods?

I´m an electrical engineer besides being a professional musician/studio guy.

I used to cook.....for 6 years.....

And I've noticed that mixing music is similar to making dishes.....there's always something missing untill you get it right...and the right blend seems to add some extra magic to the equasion(however you spell it).
Also..once you get into a method or working....your zone if you will....things change and suddenly there's light at the end of the tunnel...suddenly nothings a big deal anymore.

That and cooks party like rockstars....

Funny that you guys bring on the "cook thing".
I used to cook for a few years, and I see a lot of similairities between mixing and cooking.
