| Gear maniac | just wanted to tell you that I love the distressor. hi Dave, I've only been recording for a few years now(around 5)...usually in my modest home studio. Recently the band I'm playing with got a deal and I got the chance to record the vocals for our record.(thanks to the generous Matt Wallace) I used a distressor for all the vocals and It sounded great!!!!! I've been slowly saving my pennies because I honestly can't live without one. Funny I'm signed to a major label and I can't remember when I was ever this broke. just wanted to let you know you have a great product!!!!! Thanks

| Thanks Lee! And congratulations to being signed. In case you havnt found out yet... being signed is only the first step to a successful career and has NOTHING TO DO WITH MAKING MONEY! <Laughing> You gotta get to the 2nd and 3rd albums before that is gonna happen. GOOD LUCK and thanks again for your comments! ![]()

| Lee, just out of curiousity, what was the rest of your vocal chain, mic, pre, etc? And what setting did you use on the Distressor? Thanks and best of luck. |

| Gear maniac | the main setup was manley tube reference/Averill 1073/distressor. 4:1-attack5-release-4 I also used an M149 and a beta57 for dirty vox
