Different PT Software versions x sound

Hi!
This might sound esotherical but have you guys felt a different sound when upgrading your PT software?

I remember that when I upgraded from 4.3 to 5.1.1/5.1.3 I felt a consirable difference.

We were using the same clock source, mic pres, inerts, cabling, mics and "shoes" -lol

dunno why but my aux tech also realized the same. Sound was cleaner, we could perceive a little more details in the mixing process, less tweaking.

Do you guys realized a similar situation with 6.3?

Thanks Nice sunday

Fala Alécio!!!

I'm using PT LE, but, when I upgraded from Beta32 to 6.1 I could hear an improvement.
Better stereo image, clearer sound... some folks say that's something OS X did to the sound... to me, doesn't matter, still sounds better than 5.x.

Definately. I used to have 5.1 and 001 a few years back and recently got 6.1 and Mbox and right off the line i was getting the mix and sound i was trying so hard to get with the 001.
