PT users be counted! Your "must have" list of plugins.

I'm gonna try like hell to move to osx and PT6.xx during some down time at the end of this month.
I'm getting my ducks in a row as far as updates and authorizations for the Plugs we own and use often so that the transition will be smooth, hopefully over a few days.

I've had to in the interest of $$$ really try and pare down to the essential plugs (what we rely on day to day) what it is I will choose to keep and update.

that list so far:
Waves Gold (and REN)....(add the Transform bundle)
McDsp compressor and filter bank (never used the other stuff but can imagine it kiks ass as well)

Sound Replacer

Bomb Factory

Auto Tune

Speed (wave mechanics)

Serato Pitch n Time

Echo Farm

Amp Farm

TC master X (not sure about this)

channel strip (not sure )

and, I'd like to be able to accomadate vixsiting engineers with any other special needs stuff as well....so specifics there would be helpful.

I understand the Sony stuff is well liked by some, I wasn't blown away (pretty happy with the mc dsp) but I'd be willing to try.

I was also told that digi may be implementing a plugin "rental" acct for iloc accts. Anyone heard this? Sounds like a great idea to me.

thanks guys and gals.

Essentials:

Filterbank

Compressorbank

Soundblender

Auto-tune

Amp Farm

Sound Replacer

Voc-Align

Pitch-n-Time

Would be nice:

Massenburg EQ

McDSP Multiband Comp

Echo Farm

DUY stuff

Wouldn't bother with:

Oxford Plugs ( I was really unimpressed with the EQ.. havent tried the inflator)

Plugs:
URS EQ's (all of em)
TL Everyphase
TL Space
RenComp
Enigma
Izotope Suite
Echo Farm
Amp Farm
Waves Transform Bundle
(ideally, Diamond Bundle)
If not, gimme the tap delays.

Hard to leave the Sony stuff behind, but the URS just does it for me more often.

Softsymths:
MiniMoog V
Kontakt (if I cant keep Giga too, then I'll just take time to translate it all to Kontakt )
Any one of the other NI synths, or Virus Indigo TDM; they all pretty much make me smile

I vote for Sony Oxford plug-ins and the Cranesong Phoenix. This and some of the SoundToys stuff is the reason to use a HD system!

Are the Sony's plugs lighter on the CPU (RTAS) than Waves?

(Donning flame suit)
I'm gonna vote for Sampletank

-For quick sketches, and getting ideas down, writing jingles....It's so damn usefull! With the onboard effects and filters you can get some really neat sounds.

It aint no kontact or gigasampler, but when time is of the essence.....(Always!!) It REALLY helps me out.

H.
