Converters

Charles,
Just curious what A/D/A converters you use if other than the 192 you mentioned earlier. Also what do you use for a master clock?

I'm a 192 I/0 man. My master clock is the 192 or SYNC I/O.

Wow. That surprises me. But similar to what I said in the reverb thread, I have no choice but to use outboard converters, since I'm running Pro Tools LE on Digi 001.

Charles, have you ever tried third-party converters, say at another studio? Or have you just not seen the need.

Every time you're here, you say something that suprises me. Last time, it was the statement about you not being overly concerned with plugin compensation.
