Questions every Garbage fan has...

First off, can't believe that us hardcore Garbage fans have the opportunity to ask some questions! This is such a treat!!!

I'm hoping that you'll be able to answer some lingering questions that us Garbage fans have.

1) All The Good In This Life lyrics: There's one line that we can't quite figure out. "with the riders in the dirt back on astelin turf". Is astelin turf the correct lyric? If so, what the hell is astelin turf? haha

2) #1 Crush Nellee Hooper Mix: the opening moaning vocals - is that Shirley or Madonna from the song "Bedtime Story"?

3) I've actually asked you this in person, but believe I may have caught you off guard - what happened to "Hangin' with the Bitches"? It was the supposed first completed track off Bleed Like Me, but it never made the light of day. Was this one of the tracks that was made prior to the temporary hiatus? I'm dying to hear it! You were quoted saying that it was "sort of a talking heads funky groove but a lot darker and noisier".

4) Every music video is available in some type of format (at the very least promo dvd/VHS); however, a version of "Run Baby Run" has yet to surface and it wasn't included on the Absolute Garbage DVD. Any idea as to why it was never released?

5) My own personal question - I attended the Beat It Wally concert and couldn't help but notice the similar sounding "strings" vibe that appears in "Tell Me Where It Hurts". Did the Beat It Wally performance influence the instrumentals?

6) I can't get enough of "Never Be Free". The first time I heard it, I literally fell off my chair. I understand that it was co-written by John 5 during the Beautifulgarbage era? Mind shedding some light of how that track came to be?

Thanks so much for participating in this forum Butch (you too Billy and Mike!). Kudos on the "Bad Boyfriend" and "It's All Over But The Crying" remixes! They are fantastic!

I'm not sure where Nellee got those intro vocals...it could be Madonna, as he worked with her on Bedtime Story.

Bitches was never really finished....it did have a really cool, funky groove, was quite noisy, and Shirl's voc had loads of attitude...for some reason we didn't think it fit on Bleed Like Me.
