Hey Butch, I'm wondering if you have any advice regarding egos in the studio. It seems like most everyone comes across a person who won't listen to anybody, but will tell everybody what to do, and thrives on being the center of attention at all times. I believe you've touched on this topic in some other threads, but anything specific about how you deal with difficult people in the studio would be great! Thanks, Cooper |

Sometime I try to get an artist to think the idea is theirs, even if I came up with the idea. I don't care, if they want to take credit that's fine, as long as i got my way in the end! | |

Wow. I think as simple as your answer is- it really confirms the fact that producers are somewhat pseudo babysitters/psychologists. Thats really cool and takes a lot of, not sure what the word is- but I am sure you know what I am trying to say given the fact most people want credit for whatever! Cool question.
