Tre Cool + Noble & Cooley snare

Hi Butch, I wondered if the Noble & Cooley Classic SS snare drum was used by Tre on the new album, and if so what mics/methods were used to capture it...I ask as I use the same snare, well the 8x14 version. I got mine from Boris Williams who used to drum for The Cure.

Much as I love the sound of this drum I personally don't find it an easy drum to record, so here's hoping for some tips.

Thanks, Phil.

I don't have my notes in front of me, so I can't remember if we used one or not.

Chris might remember...and Mike Fasano would know as he kept extensive notes.
