Thread Starter | Producer vs engineer. Where is the line??
Hey Butch, Ive noticed that in certain threads your very knowledgeable with regards to mic placement, mic selection, room accoustics, monitoring etc etc..however with some threads asking for specifics on pre-amps,compression etc you seem to suggest that its more appropriate for an engineer to respond(say the bass thread for example) Im interested to know in your mind where does the line between producer/engineer sit and does this shift for you from project to project or is it very distinct?? Thanks |
