Some days I really hate being stuck on a Mix system... I'd love to use this, but it won't fly Steve's plugs rule! I want a full featured Massey channel strip for every channel!

Perfect vocal, snare distorter. Smooth and no loss of clarity. That's tough to get in the analog world. Nice job Steve.

I tried some THC on a bass DI track last nite, had the PSP vintage warmer, UA LA2A and the THC on it, sounded awesome!!The THC gave the track the right amount of bite, I could turn the bass down alil in the track with it still being clear and ballsy. The THC doesnt muck up the low end like some distortion plugs do. I also tried Roundbadges suggestion, THC on the drum buss. For me it was the kick, snare tom bus, pre-fader....very nice!!! The added grit made the drums alil punchier!!! Kudos to Mr. Massey!!! Cant wait for the tape delay plug!!! |

THC sounded extrodinary when I ran the following chain : -> Strat w/ Seymour Duncan Distortion Pickup + Medium Gauge Strings -> Countryman TYPE 85 FET D.I. -> Digi002R -> THC [Various Settings] -> Digi002R output -> Passive D.I. to approx. insturment level again -> Peavey Classic 50/50 Power Amp -> Marshall 1960A [Mid 1990s] Straight 412 ![]() ![]() |

| Ohm Force Ohmicide is distortion galore, but it's a whole other thing than the Massey.
