Fielding DSP Reviver

Hi,

this is Johannes from Fielding DSP !
we as a new little software company, would like to introduce our first plugin:

the Reviver

some quick facts:

- generates second and third order harmonics, without any unwanted distortion

- adds punch to percussive material (drums) and thickness to low freq. signals (subbass)

- increases loudness of any signal

- adds brightness to any signal

- AU only (for now)

i will try to post some soundsamples the next week

we will launch a webpage and a betatest very soon in about 2 weeks, so stay tuned!

we are really interrested how you guys like our baby, so thanks for your attention.

Isn't this the GUI that someone posted a little while ago after a google search but no-one had any information pertaining to it?? Funny. It is real.

hi again,

here are some samples:

what you hear is only dis 2 with 25%, 50 %, 75%, 100%, everytime on the same sample

reviver was on the masterbus, that is not the perfect place for it ( in my opinion, its b etter on individual tracks ), but i thinks its good to get an idea how it reacts on different sources ( like bassdrum, snare, bass, trumpets, etc..)

all samples are levelmatched

please let us know how you like it and thanks for your time

Loving the sound!!

Hey JmJ!!

Its My... just heard the sample.. and defintively loving the sound of Reviver!!

- Punchy
- Feels like it "beefs" up the dynamics in every percussive sounds (wich i love), in other word i feel like it gives an Xtra Edge.
- And the sound of Reviver is Transparent (not too much coloration) but has its own caracter wich i like..

And to be honest that is what come out from my first listening.. can not wait to hear more...

Thanx and good work to your Team!

hi again,

the website will be launched in about 2 weeks...price will be something between
100-150$. betatesters will get a special discount.

it really matters alot what kind of material you use with it, sometimes it works great
( like almost always on drums and trumpets ) and sometimes it doesnt

tomorrow ill try to make some samples with trumpets or a leadsynth or even voice if i find some

The effect seems better on the entire mix, but the german rap vox is not the best to try with .

I hope that a Windows VST will be planned after the Mac AU.

hi ,

yeah thats right, it strongly depends on the material how well reviver is doing

( and vocals are very sensitive when it comes to distortion )

it's doing best with percussive material

i think to rockvocals i will post tomorrow are much better

thanks for your opinion thumbsup
