Very cool Martin! Towards the end of the video I could feel that final twist coming.. good one.

Still rocking the SWE#1 here, all the singers love it.

Cheers for another great mic!

The web site says $7700 USD. Could you please clarify?

With the currency exchange that's roughly $4500 USD.

Bit confused myself. The response curve looks stellar on this brute.

Sorry about the website, it hasn't been updated in ages, need to do something about it now!

Anyway, this is a new product, in a metal body. Calling it NU-47V and it is indeed a bit more affordable than the wooden version.

Looks and sounds great! Might have to jump on one of these....what's the current manufacturing/delivery time after placing an order?

List is filling up quickly, so right now we're looking at late June.

It's a nice presentation, and I knew he was going to say he had been switching mics every few seconds (although I couldn't tell) it was a guess.

But, there's a big difference between speech and a male singer letting loose in his upper register.

I've got a Wunder CM7 and I'd certainly like to compare them.

The Wunder is no exact U47 clone, but it does saturate nicely and control sibilance well under high SPL's from my vocals.

Hopefully they'll be a UK demo available.

So true! Have a good singer coming in from Sweden next week, will ask him to do some tracks. Thanks for the suggestion!

Count me interested. What tube is in the new one? My random guess is a 6922...curious about tube replacement costs...the tube is actually new and not NOS? Gold Lion?

Also the 4500 includes the non-shock mount?

Yes, $4500 includes mount, PSU, cables, case.

It's not a 6922 and I will provide replacements at a reasonable cost as spares for my current NU-47 customers. Have yet to figure out the actual price but about $250 for pre-tested should not be too far off.
