SamplesLoops SampleTekk Blue Grand (Oh no - more pianos...)

Here I go again...
I'm making yet another multisampled piano. This time I'm going for a bit more mellow touch. It's still close miked, since I think that's the way to connect to the instrument and make it work in a context, but I've added a bit more of the room mikes and also tried to use a softer touch

The instrument, (Yes, my darling Malmsjö, same as the White Grand!), was set up tunewise to give a bit more movement, just to add charachter.
It's a smaller instrument, in size. I've tried to build a smaller footprint piano that loads faster and are not that taxing on the system.
No bells and whistles on this. There are hammerback and pedalnoise that will be added, but it will be a straight Kontakt/HALion/EXS24 library.
And, it will have a price that you'll like!

Work in progress so comments are extremly welcomed!

SamplesLoops

Worked some more on the samples, and also added hammerback. They, are subtile, but they should. Getting nearer to release on this one!
All comments are, as usual, welcomed!

Demo 2 is exactly the kind of sound I like. Perfect for doing some "old school" sampled music.

Way to go !

Hi Per,

Nice to see you working on new stuff. I've been a long fan of your pianos, since the Black Grand in 2004. I really like this blue sound.

One little thing annoying in my sampletekk pianos is the behavior of the release samples. When you play many chords with the sustain pedal down, then release it, it seems like all release samples are triggered and it produce a loud and unnatural pop. I hope you can fix this on this new piano (I haven't checked your new Black piano, maybe it is already). Also, will the hammer, release and pedal noises be tweakable? That would be a no go for me if they aren't.

Blue Grand will be released in about a day. First we'll have the Kontakt/HALion 3 version.
Hammerback/pedal noice on the Kontakt version, just hammerback on HAL3, but there will be pedal noice on HAL4, (free download when ready). EXS24 version a bit further down the road, (free download for that too).
Price will be 49 USD, but we'll have a introduction price at the no-brainer 29 USD! Stay tuned!
