Wowzers! Way to go Boss. This seems really daring for them. I love it. I guess they got tired of the boutiques eating their lunch.

I like the TE-2 sound. I saw a demo on YouTube. The TE-2 sounds eerily close to a sound I came up with recently.

Split guitar signal; signal 1: BD-2 (OD)->amp, signal 2: DD-6 (digital delay)->PH-3 (stepped phase mode)->DI
Having the clean step phased delays over any amount of dirt is what does it for me.

The TE-2 appears to do that while being sensitive to dynamics. I'm thinking that the depth of the phase sound is affected by the input level.

That's a lot going on in one pedal!
