midi over USB is a bit sketchy since the original was VCO and has ZERO digital components...unless it's just note on/off, etc, via CV converter or something.

German Keyboard mag is running a full blown article about it in their latest issue which was in my mailbox this morning-i doubt they would write about it if it was just a rumour.

It's no more sketchy than any other MIDI to CV converter really. It has nothing to do with the VCO components at all.

Why would there be a Euro price then? And it was leaked previously in South America.

Korg already solved the issue of MIDI control over a surface mount component VCO with the Monotribe. You need to hack into it, but the MIDI control is there.

This is what people on here, myself included, have been wanting for some time. Would be cool if they added more features like full automation, patch support and extra LFO / Envelope. The most important thing is obviously that it sounds exactly like the original though. The ms-20s patch section looks like hell to me compared to my future retro XS. They have such odd names for everything too.
