Thanks for this, downloaded and love it. When can we look forward to seeing the rest of these plugins?

All of you who are mindlessly defending Steve and his team are just a bunch of sheep.
Great developer? Obviously. Company that has made some great contributions to our work? Obviously.
But did they royally screw up this roll out? OBVIOUSLY.
So awesome that they are above all criticism and beyond reproach? OBVIOUSLY NOT.
Steve and his team screwed up.
If he's half the pro you think he is, he probably feels the negative response is completely warranted and understandable. I bet you won't find him complaining about the complaints even for a second.
That's because the complaints are valid. So calm the F down, Steve isn't Justin Bieber and you (probably) aren't a screaming 13-year-old girl.
So stop acting like one.

JSL | Couldn't disagree more!!
Firstly, the announcement was made 4 days ago and it was fixed 3 days ago. Leaving us one day without something we certainly are NOT counting on to get our work done.
I haven't even tried the darn thing yet. Why? Because as a professional, I don't use my "working" time for trying out new toys.
Secondly, there's a generous demo available which means I highly doubt anyone purchased this software and didn't get what they wanted.
I've been using Massey plugins from the very beginning and have never had an issue with them. They don't require iLok (which most people complain about) and they sound fantastic. They're incredibly reasonably priced and each time I buy a new computer and have to re-authorize it, Massey is always the first to respond with my codes.
I can think of very few companies I would endorse as much as Massey.
In fact, my only complaint has been having to make Reaper tutorials without them. No more.
Enjoy.

Working great here on Digital Performer 8.01 @32 bits. Looking forward for the rest of the plug ins. Also, could be great if a 64 bit version is coming too!

After that it's a little less predictable which will be ready next. As folks have noted, we also need to tackle VST3/64-bit at some point soon. But, the mood of this thread implies it might be prudent to prioritize THC to the top of the list . I also want to use the opportunity of a new platform to make some minor improvements here & there. It's always tricky to tweak a plugin after release as it usually involves breaking preset and/or sonic compatibility, so now is a great time.

It's exactly the kind of people I'd not like to work with. What a bad state-of-mind.

Maybe a stupid question here but, who using the vst format is still working in 32 bit?

So glad Massey is making new products, just wish it was all-new rtas plugin designs, rather than redone designs for cranky vst users, haha.
I own literally all Massey plugs and never had one that was anything but totally smooth and bug-free, high quality stuff for sure.

I like the massey d'esser, its used it often around here- yes, I paid for it.
I also think it is great that they rolled out something new and useful to some -thanks Steven.
I find it somewhat unsettling the sense of entitlement that some folks have displayed on this thread.
Its like saying "now I can't finish the record I'm working on without something I've never used before".
Really...ok... |

Massey Plugins Inc. | That's great news! But please don't make us wait too long for the L2007 Limiter. I really liked it when I tried it at my friends studio.

Really...ok... | Well, that's not my case at all, I own and use all the Massey plug ins in my Protools Rig. The thing is that I hate to compose and arrange in PT, I do most of my stuff in DP, so Massey moving to VST is great news because I love his plug ins.
Best regards.

I think the dude should cut massey some slack, that's it.

Way too many options right now to bother with a vst that isn't 64 bit. Good luck though.

Seriously, that tape head medium AU is kind of what had me waiting, waiting, and waiting for years to finally get to use this on my project rig.
Can't wait for the limiter to be released VST/mac.
