For the WIN

I'm not a big reverb snob. I don't listen to the tails of verbs and sniff disdainfully at the "bouquet". That said I've been quite satisfied (for several years) with a couple of UAD verbs and Altiverb. I demo'ed this new Valhalla verb on a whim. Previously I thought Valhalla Room was cool but didn't particularly suit my needs (which have been met by the above mentioned plugins). So... this new VintageValhallaVerb is something special. I like it. I like what it does for the kind of deep thumpy snares that I lean towards. I like what it does for fingered nylon string guitar. I like the way that it melds itself to the source material so easily.

I'm hitting the road for a couple of months with nothing but my laptop so I'm leaving my UAD verbs behind for a while. This new Valhalla verb is going to be all I use until next summer. I think it will do.

Thank you Sean. Your work is an inspiration.

Yes!! It does the "surrounding the source" thing beautifully.
Love the way the "300" presets do small spaces.

Putting a touch (less than 10%) of one of the Halls over a whole mix can do wonders for glueing everything together.

Tweak to taste. Magic.

Awesome, you rule Sean! Picking that up today.

Love the GUI and the idea. Reverb is one of those things I really like having nice presets to start with and you always do a great job of making ones that are really useful.

I dunno if it is *great* timing. It's a pretty busy space nowadays, with a lot of talented reverb folks putting out some great work. I'm not sure why we all finished up our work at the same time. Trying to finish up before 12/21/2012?

Sorry, half asleep. I mean this situation is shit. So many good plugins out and only limited cash. I'll not demo because I'll buy it in any case.

89 people viewing this forum tells you the respect Sean commands in this place.

Me I am gonna demo against the Lx480 demo I got and buy what works. I hope its Sean's plugin though, as his support is excellent.

Didnt see this coming!, can't wait to try it. Already have the Valhalla Room so I hope it offers something significantly different to all the algos that one has.

Great its finally dropped. I also been beta testing this and I think its gonna be a big winner. Wanted to say something but had to hold it in...

Quality results that is fast and fun to use - and usual top value price. You cant ask for much more really.

Compare the same preset - 'A Plate' between them...see what you think...

Its definitely different - in sound and functionality...specifically inspired of course by a family of classic boxes.
