I understand the aesthetic you suggest. I don't think you'll find that here. The dimension and vividness of
AC is great, but it's more on the ambient side (even with the close mics) than the
Eleanor Rigby sound.
The divisi and solo instruments combined could achieve a similar result, but the proximity and dryness you desire may be somewhat elusive to accomplish with this library. Of course, an experienced engineer could do things to bring the sound more up front.
Nonetheless, Adagio is still wonderful for more cinematic scoring and excels in terms of expressiveness.
