Avalon V5

Has anyone mentioned this before?

An evolution/extension of my favorite DI, the U5. This adds a microphone preamp and a reamp utility.

Not clear to me whether you can use the DI and the reamp at once, which would be a cool way of integrating guitar pedals into an analog mix without hassle.

This actually does look interesting, esp if the DI sounds as good as the U5, the preamp sounds as good as M5 (not likely at this price), and the reamp can be used at all times, including when using the mic preamp.

It is unclear from the description if any of these things are true.

They would do well to clarify.

I asked my rep at Sweetwater, and yes, all outputs are live simultaneously.
