DSaudio 3012 is a microphone preamplifier that recreates the sound of the classic API 312. Based on discrete operational amplifier (no integrated) with microphone input transformer and transformer output, without capacitors in the signal path. Is a very fast pre with a great high end. Can be racked one or two modules in the same rack unit, can be combined with DSaudio 272, DSaudio 3012, DSaudio 176m.

DSAUDIO 176m

Visit: DSaudio176m - DSaudio

The DSaudio 176m recreates the sound of the classic Urei 1176 Rev F, respecting 100% the original sound with the advantage of being a module that is very easy to transport due to its limited size. Thought for prefessionals who needs to work in live recording or several studios. It can be used over the desk or racked in 1 rack unit (racking accesories are included). It can be racked in the same unit with another 176m or DSaudio 272, DSaudio 3012, DSaudio 4012.

The DSaudio 176m is an extremely versatile compressor, it can achieve soft compression to really hard limiting. It is very easy to obtain excellent sound in track recording or in tracks that are already recorded even if the conversion is not the ideal one.

800$ USD

Audio test UREI vs DSAUDIO 176m (mono version):

Ratio 4:1, Release fast, Attack slow: around -6db

Sounds good and affordable!
Does the 176m have only 4:1 and 20:1 or all 4 ratios?

i really like the look of these products and their price but i'd like to see some testaments from real life users, build quality, real word studio / tracking usage, full song demo's etc
