Thank you everyone for the overwhelming feedback!

Many of you are asking for a VST/AU/RTAS/AXX - its comming, of course.

For the iOS app we are currently making a list of supported interfaces. We have not yet had any reports of hardware not working, but please let me know if there is an interface which does not work for you or if it works with one of the untested interfaces below.

WORKS:

iRig
Apogee Jam
Apple Camera Connection Kit
iRig MIDI
Alesis IO Dock

ANYBODY TRIED?

iRig Stomp
Peavey AmpKit Link
Digitech iStomp
DigiTech iPB10
Alesis AmpDock
Line 6 Midi Mobilizer
Line 6 Mobile-in
iRiffPort
Griffin GuitarConnect Pro
Sonoma Wire Works GuitarJack Model 2

Low latency plugin version would be every guitar based producer/arrangers' dream.
Waiting with baited breath!!

Just to add, and maybe you're software guys not interested in hardware, but what would be INCREDIBlE is:
An accessory for the iPad/iPhone that has midi output (and preferably a guitar input plus thru output) so that live musicians can always have it connected to a sound module and work with both amp plus Midi Guitar/ Sound module combo.
No wifi latency.
No PC/Mac, just an iPad or iPhone/iPod.
Could this technically ever happen?

Well... its possible. With IO Dock or something similar you have both midi out and guitar in/out. On the iPad you have amp sims for audio and then MIDI Guitar connected to iOS synths with virtual MIDI and no wifi latency. Isn't this what you imagine?

The only thing we need is way to switch between the apps with a foot controller. Anybody know if that is possible?

MIDI Guitar is potentially HUGE, cant wait for a VST!

I'd prefer to go external, rather than an iOS soft synth.

Hi,

I actually bought it but it seems like when I connect it via Wifi in PT (no other solution for the moment) it's really difficult to don't have random notes here and here, and sometimes (like every 30 sec) a note begin and never stops until I press play then stop in PT. It's like the app told PT to keep a pedal on a particular note. Do you have any idea about that ?

But love the concept. Just wondeing how I could make this more workable.
