Nice work! I liked your free sample so much that I bought your Battle Kick.

Can I commend you on a few points?

1) Your site demonstrates that you are, foremost, a killer recording engineer.
2) Nearly all your drums have audio previews.
3) You have an a la carte purchase option, which is easy and relatively affordable.

I'm not shilling for the OP here, but I liked not having to buy a whole library to get the one sample I really wanted. Less bandwidth, less hassle, and less money than an entire library.

Thanks for the free sample. The Vision Kick sounds really nice and punchy. Is there a way to listen to audio demos of your other samples? I visited your site but couldn't find any.

Thanks!

That's fine. I hate buying or seeing packs that have folders full of drums you are supposed to map your self in to your sampler. Thats not what I do. You can flick through my already mapped kits in the context of your track, I make sure the midi note number I have for the kiks stay the same, just as I do with claps, snares etc.

I'm not dissing the guys samples but I do think $5 for one drum sound is pushing it and im wondering if im overworking. But if people are prepared to pay that then go for it. I just think what I offer is better value. And by the time my distributor takes their cut I get ten pounds. If the pack is sold through a 3rd party they take 50% so I then make 5 pounds. So I make nearly 800 individual sounds and can get the same money he makes on one kik. I really should be working for him.

And yeah I have to say "One free kik drum" which I couldn't find seems to me a little on the tight side (no pun intended)

No offense taken man, $5 per sample is an average price IMO. Even cheap, vs truth samples, on the same level as sturgis samples, nearly on par as drum werks, cheaper than the orbinator kit by far, as a buyer of other samples because they are useful $5 is no big deal. For a library of the caliber you're speaking of I would say $20 is selling your hard work short assuming it is awesome.

Also, scroll down, there are 3 kicks and one says "free". Not to be a jerk or anything, just others find it relatively easy. Check it out if you would like.

Glad you like it man! Yes! All of the other samples do have audio examples, they'll say "-Click HERE to hear a sample of the drum" or something very similar. The "HERE" will be the link to the audio demo

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I've been offering free kick samples for years.
