Slate Digital VIRTUAL TAPE MACHINES Available NOW

Perhaps one of the most complex audio plugins ever coded, the Slate Digital VIRTUAL TAPE MACHINE replicates the sound of TWO industry standard tape decks including NRG RECORDING's 16track 2inch machine and Howie Weinberg's 2track 1/2" mastering deck.

Using the VTM, your music will have added life, depth, punch, and dimension. The digital "high end" will be replaced by lush and smooth analog highs. Your low end will have more depth, punch, and harmonic 'bigness'. Your mids will have added clarity and vibe.

Demo the VTM now at Slate Digital - Home Page!

All Slate Customers and owners of 3 eligible competing products can get a $50 voucher here:
VTM Coupons

Do you want to hear what the VTM can do? Check out our VTM AUDIO DEMO PAGE to hear A/B tests with the actual tape machines:
Slate Digital

Watch VIDEO Interviews of Steven Slate and Fabrice Gabriel at the VTM Video Page. Steven discusses the making of the plugin, while Fabrice goes into technical detail and even shows various audio test tones processed with real tape, the VTM, and competing tape emulation plugins.

I just want you all to know that we've worked very hard on this plugin so that it truly replicates the extremely complex process of tape recording, and I sincerely hope you guys enjoy what it does to your music.

Please let me know, and I'd be delighted if you'd post some audio here and to our VTM facebook page:

The subtitles on the videos are quite possibly the most hilarious things I've ever seen in my life.

But I am very much looking forward to hear these.

So, how does it sound on it's own? How does it sound compared to ReelBus, MPX, UAD Studer?

Listen to the hi res audio demos here:
Slate Digital

It's simply ridiculous how different the audio sounds coming off youtube than it did when we hear the full res files. We're swapping the video to one without the demos.

Cheers,
Steven

The audio demos are not working here either yet, when I right click and save as it will download 246 bytes for each file.

Working on it. Tried on mixbus as well as drums/bass. I'm very pleased so far. Demos might even come up tonight!

As soon they use it Scott they'll hear it immediately! The Youtube audio compression combined with the video editor's mp3 compression kinda destroyed those audio pieces so we're swapping the video now..

We're also making the hi res audio demos at the Slate Site clickable (right now you have to right click)

Cheers,
Steven

He said subtitles, not subtleties... that's like the same word when you look at it, but oh so different in meaning.

Hi! I downloaded the demo of VTM but did not get any license code. Should I request it somewhere other than downloading the plug?

I have a whole lot of work to do this summer so I'm very excited to try this thing finally!!!
