Fantastic plugin.
Your donate button isn't working for me in Chrome (2x after refresh)--is your account full?
Do the GUIs vary in cpu use? It's highly usable with all the current options, just curious...

I've just received the next notification for that experimental 64-bit version:
"(...) it just crashed studio one 2.0.6 mac for the first time, when I instantiated it:
I just installed your new version, gui2--no crashes before today on earlier (non64 ) version".
I'm fixing it... Quote:

And also I did some tries to reduce CPU usage for GUI itself. Old GUI code was based on Molot GUI code which had bugs in first releases but latest revisions were stable (excluding working with wrapper).
Due to a lot of new code this latest version is in testing stage yet. But with help of your reports I can make it stable and update main "downloads" links to this version. Quote:

I checked them all in Chrome and yes, the button on "Limiter No6" page didn't work. I fixed it.

Mostly - it is brilliant there of course
...But had some fun on a sub group with atmospheric pads and panned stuff, using the multiband setting - cool squash!

The plugin diplays blank white, no GUI at all. The last version GUI was fine although of course the random crash issue was there. That may be an inherent problem with the wrapper though, so there may be no way to fix that (wrapper is unsupported by FXpansion now).

I had plans to check latest version with ProTools today. Now I have better motivation to do this. The problem is VST-RTAS wrapper uses old VST 2.3 specification but it seems I didn't enable some legacy GUI code to support it.
FYI, I did a try to request RTAS SDK from Avid. Also I want to repeat this try several times until some possible success.

I checked it and now I can confirm that this experimental 32/64-bit Mac version doesn't work with RTAS adapter (I have white empty plugin window).
It's really hard to get the reason this problem because Pro Tools doesn't allow to attach debugger to process. So I have no fast solution yet.
EDIT: I've found the reason.

Just installed this - running in Pro Tools 8 via the wrapper. This plugin is just great Vlad - excellent work.

Gotta say,
I don't download a lot of free stuff, but this one was a gem. Sure it's a limiter, but it won't be replacing what I already use. However, I see this tool having a lot of functionality, it is well laid out and the sections are very useful for very particular situations, where I have yet to find 'that' perfect tool, or that perhaps something like that clipper finally replaces the old phased out Mac PPC IK T-Racks clipper which had always did something pleasing for me. The HF limiter alone attenuated a subtle click transient on a kick drum that was popping out of a mix, where EQ, SPL TD, compression with a short attack, etc... nothing worked without sacrifice. This thing just mellowed the kick right into place. Just perfect for any track, any situation.
Well done, wonderful tool. Could go for $199 and I would have loved it, however I would not have jumped in immediately. Thanks.

Oh I didn't see it, thanks ! Doesn't look like an EQ to me, from what I recall of my Russian lessons, I can read/guess it looks like a compressor. I guess the EQ is for Side Chain purpose then.
edit : after looking at Vladg's website I think it was just a part of the "in progress" Limiter No6 military GUI.

Just tested this against the Pro-L and my initial impression was "Wow!".
This might not be the best limiter for any given situation but everybody should have this plugin in his toolbox IMHO.
Great great limiter - insane price tag!

Also for the record VladG. I think the random crashes in Protools 10.2 that I'm experiencing may actually be caused by Molot (wrapped by FXpansion wrapper obviously).
I tried removing it as an experiment and the crashes have stopped. At least I haven't had one for a few days.
I thought it might be worth mentioning that. It's not conclusive, but stability does seem to be greatly improved.

It's very interesting to see how just far you can push each of the five stages by itself, before things start to sound bad, and then start tweaking to get the best sound with all the sections in series.
I think this will be a nice tool for those looking for extreme loudness!

Limiter No6 has similar GUI code, so it should have the same behavior, but some people reported that Limiter No6 works fine on their Pro Tools. Quote:

Also FYI, I requested RTAS SDK from Avid, so payed RTAS version in some future can be possible. Also I'm preparing new version with rewritten GUI code (to solve CPU issues and 64-bit Mac support). Currently, it has some problems with mouse under RTAS wrapper (some events are skipped for unknown reason) but it doesn't crash. On success, Molot version will be updated too.
