Just got this email - I can't wait.
---
drumasonic 2 is available now:
- drumasonic 2 LE contains all the samples you already have, integrated in an amazing new engine.
- drumasonic 2 (full version) provides the same engine, but more than 4 times the amount of samples.
Since christmas is just about half a year ago, you get the upgrade to drumasonic 2 LE for free! ;-)
The "big" upgrade is available for EUR 59. If you'd like to get the full version for free as well, tell your friends about drumasonic and get a whopping EUR 30 bonus for every friend who places an order on our site. Two referred friends are enough to get the full version for free.

Trying to upgrade but am finding the install process confusing. Kontakt 5 won't see the library. Hopefully someone gets back in touch soon. Really like to try these out and hate cumbersome installs.

Purchased the upgrade.
Trying to download ...
Was given ONE download of each file, very generously !
This is just ridiculous.
D/l speed : 21.4 Kb/s
D/l time : 10 hours
I am def. not gonna sit and wait for this.
Thanks,

Daniel is trying to help get me up and running.
These non-standard installs confuse the living shite out of me... and make me wanna jump off a bridge in the process. Pain in the ass.
They already updated a bit of the install steps to get things going but I'm still not happening unfortunately.

The download speed (or lack thereof) is a major bummer here too. |

Downloading at a snail's pace here.
However I do have the option of not staring at the download progress and doing other things like.... having a coffee, doing some laundry, making some breakfast.

S. | I found that speed increased drastically by doing one file at the time.
Saved me some hours

If they´ve just put it up and announced it here, it´s no wonder if the server´s quite busy... ;-)

I've been trying for the last hour to get the LE upgrade installed but to no avail. I followed the installation instructions perfectly, the library appears to be installed within Kontakt but whenever I try to load one of the patches I'm getting an error messages saying 'This patch is corrupt and cannot be loaded'. I don't know what the problem is but at this stage I'm scunnered.
Cheers, Mark.

This sounds amazing. Very usable, and frankly quite different from the alternatives in a good way. Great job guys.

I think Soundcloud could be the worst possible place to demo an audio product.

Does Drumasonic 2 have real round robin samples? The details mention round robin "implementation".

Been using Drumasonic for awhile now... nothing fancy but real good recorded samples. V2 has more drum kit piece samples and gives you more control over the mix.... you can PAN the overheads to match where kit pieces would sit in your kit setup... (I don't hear any phasing when I do this).
You do need Kontakt 5 though to use it (the full or free player)... I hadn't upgraded so I had to go through the hassle of d/l'ed and installing the player and decided to purchase the upgrade (won't be here for awhile) but the player does fine.
I don't go for all the Kontakt FX but you have the ability to route individual mics or busses to your DAW output to mix and effect at will.
Nice product, not too much dough and no complaints.
Jim

I thought the Germans were supposed to be efficient. How bout downloading a single file or multiple files with a installer done. http://static.gearslutz.com/board/im...s/facepalm.gif |

While it is a bit convoluted, if you follow the instructions it takes 2 minutes to install. The download took me 10 minutes, so all in all I was up and running in15 minutes. Really, how difficult is that?

I will go to bed and see it in the morning I guess |

Does anyone know which 3rd party MIDI groove patterns work with Drumasonic 2?
The MIDI grooves used on their webpage demos sounded pretty stilted.
Nice sounds on the samples, though.
Thanks,
Laser
