Cool, but your one day late! Demo expired yesterday :(

Less CPU is a neat feature. Because I wanna use this plugin via win8 tablet. Possible to have some midi?

If i would render a song: Do i have to set the quality on all tracks to the highest settings manually or does the plugin notice that the daw is rendering an adjusts the settings automatically. "The Glue" and others offer this feature.

Why is the price $219 on the website?

I went into Rockrack with the Radial JDI first and then into the Apogee Duet 2... is that the method you were previously suggesting???... or is that only for certain preamps/interfaces to go into a DI first?

Wondering because I found the sound straight into the Duet to be much better than going separate DI first... for my ears anyway.

Enjoying this plug in and looking forward to the future updates.

Also, what is the possibility in the future for some type of "sag" variability?

The DI in my Duet 1 seems to be doing a fine job, although I do not have an external DI to compare with.

This plugin sounds massive to me. I haven't had this much fun recording simple rock loops in a while. The sound has been inspiring. I really like the dzl ribbon cab with the presence and treble turned down quite a bit and the bass reduced until the boomyness goes away. The midrange is super awesome on this plugin and the dual midrange control on the lead amp is great. Ultimately none of the amp and cab combos sound bad. And each control is truly effective.

BTW, I cannot seem to be able to tell much of a difference if any between the oversampling modes. The plugin seems to sound great even with it off. Which is great for me because the ol' 2008 macbook pro is getting up in years.

We are finalizing the new V1.1 as you read this.
It will feature 2 new amps, the CLEAN JAZZ AMP, and the CRUNCHY JAZZ AMP.

Also, it will enable you to use other Impulse Responses / Cabinets, so you may use different cabinet simulators with bx_rockrack.

Then, we have improved the noisegate and have fixed various smaller bugs.

We expect to have V1.1 out next week, let´s say mid of the week. ;-)
Best, Dirk.

Are the Jazz amps based on a Fender type sound or a Roland Jazz type sound? I am hoping for fender. When will the pro version be out? I am still waiting to purchase until that pro version comes out. That is unless you can upgrade to the pro later.

I see you can now Bypass the CAB-chain section.... great!

Can somebody tell me if you can bypass the Amp so I can use the CAB-Chain
section with my real tube preamp?

Thanks in advance
(I don't want to start my demo period if this not yet implemented)

No amp bypass yet.

You may be able to dial-in one of the clean amps so that it doesn't color your signal.

I believe the cabs are bypassed when you select No Recording Chain (below amp model).

@Dirk: Have you added specific recording chains for the jazz amp, too?

I'm still freaking out how good this plug in is! With the Two Notes PI-101 the days of "for the real sound you need a amp, box and mics" are over.

What do people think of the new jazz amps? Dirk - can you shed any light on what amps inspired these?

BTW, as much as the sounds are stellar on this gear it is the simplicity of it that really works. With Pod Farm I ended up messing around with all the 'toys' more than playing. With this I get a sound and then jam for ages! Dirk - by all means add the odd bonus amp and cab (bass would be nice sometime) but please keep it as simple as it is. Personally I could live without the delay and tuner as we all got nice ones as other plugins anyway.

One final thing....if it takes so much work to model just a handful of amps, are the Amplitubes and Line 6s doing that for EVERY amp in their massive list? Or are they just using code and tweaking it to get close?

Just downloaded the demo and the new jazz amps are amazing. I hadn't tried this software since the first release and everything sounds better to my ears.

we are trying the demo at the moment and best results coming if you DI the guitar first.

Yes, big love for the jazz amps...wonder what they are???
Certainly takes it away from being a rockers only plugin
