SamplesLoops Goldbaby's Urban Cookbook - not suitable for a low cholesterol diet

Want to cook up some delicious beats... well then you probably need my cookbook. The ingredients are full of saturated fat, MSG, a heap of sugar and are not suitable for a low cholesterol diet. The recipes are perfect for these dishes: Hip Hop, Dub Step, Drum & Bass, Breaks, Grime, Dance Hall, Electro... Although chefs making other dishes like: IDM, House and Techno will appreciate the varied high quality ingredients. Punchy Kicks, Solid Snares, Hi Hats, Toms, Percussion, Claps, Cymbals, Layering tools, FX, Vinyl Hits, Chord Hits, Bass tools and Rex Loops... just over 1 GB of the freshest ingredients.

With patches for Maschine & Mikro, Battery 3, Kontakt 4, Geist and Logic's EXS-24.

The Maschine version contains:

3398 x 24 bit samples
200 Rex files
52 x Drum Kits
20 x FX Kits
31 x Hits and Chords Kits
20 x Percussion kits
15 x Vox Kits
7 x demo projects
13 x Instruments (mostly bass tools)

As with most of my products there are way more samples than are used in the Kits... so there are plenty of extra sounds for you to customize those kits or create your own.

Also included are a bunch of layering tools which are incredibly useful for beefing up kicks and adding sizzle to snares...etc.

There is no question there is a recognizable Goldbaby feel. The sounds all have weight and life and a certain glow of playfulness.

Always stylish and sly. Never shrill or cheap sounding.

The snares hit you square in your chest. The mids are always huge. You can tell a hip hop analog audiophile is making this stuff.

What I love most about Goldbaby is you can tell there's a respect for the best, most toneful hip hop (Dilla, Pete Rock, maybe Timbaland & Missy Elliott at the peak of their powers?) and electronica but there's never any attempt to directly imitate anyone.

It's always fresh.

No FX on the drum kits.

Might be a couple of fx on some of the Hits and Chords... a delay or modulation just for context.

All samples, kits and instruments tagged...

Yep i'm checking it's robots stuff and all i can say is that it's damn serious , no gimmik , clean , coherent kits .....hip hop head for sure .....

I wasn't a fan of using samples back then , just because of the maintenance in Maschine and BPM ( i load projects , samples missing ect ....) i had to do as i use several rig .....so now with Mashine kits and library tha we can import in data base ...it's great !!!

Instal procedure .....

Ok guyz when i installed it , i had a user category apperaing on my kits category ...so i deleted it ....and then the GBUCB1 was no more usable (sample location bla bla) so i deleted it and did like this :

1) Go to disk and find the GBUCB1 folder
2)Select import to database (by right cliking on the folder)
3) on tags just write GBUCB1 and no other sub tags ..
4) Import it ..
5) Go to prefercnes and user library ..and rescan ..

Done and no user category created ...

hope it helps some ....and yes tags are implemented ...

Maybe I am misunderstanding you.
The version I had, had accidentally had USER tagged in the projects kits and instruments and were you trying to remove the USER tagging?

if So it is much much simpler
go to projects in the browser tab... click on GBUCB1, hit edit at the bottom, and the tag browser will pop up.. deselect USER..and hit apply

do the same for Kits and instruments and that should be it

Sorry about the User tags. I guess Maschine tags them like this by default. Have removed those Tags and re-uploaded the product to the store.

For those who have already got my product.... You can easily remove the tags in the browser. They only affect projects, groups and sounds. The samples don't have the user tag on...

zvenx had the right idea... Go to projects, groups and sounds in the browser tab... click on GBUCB1, select all the patches you want to change, hit edit at the bottom, and the tag browser will pop up.. deselect USER..and hit apply. Done.

If anyone is still having problems just contact me and I will be happy to help.
