I wish UBK-1 presets menu works in Samplitude the same way that Clariphonic DSP does.

Rods | I hear ya... This issue has been going on for way too long!
P.S.
I wish the Clariphonic DSP presets worked in Logic & Pro Tools the same way UBK-1 does! |

| UBK-1 64-Bit Public Beta!!!
At long, long, long long long last!
Thank you everyone for your excessively wonderful patience, these are beta's but they seem completely stable so enjoy the freedom from those stinkin' bridges! The House of Kush Webstore is where you can get the full version, or a demo code. The House of Kush Downloads is where you can just grab the plugin file if you already own a license.
Heads up: the downloaded 64-bit files are not installers, they're the actual plugin files so you gotta drop them in the directory where they belong, and if you don't have a license you need to either download the demo code as well, or better yet (for me, ha!) just buy one!
Thanks again, I can't tell you how hard we've worked to make this happen and how grateful I am for everyone's support and indulgence as we figure out the world of digital.
Enjoy!

Absolutely!
For starters, making *any* plugin is hard, but aside from that: the truth is that making a 64-bit plugin is no harder than making a 32-bit plugin.
What is a *billion* times harder to do is wrap a 64-bit plugin in PACE's 64-bit copy protection technology, because
1) it is relatively new compared to the widely used 32-bit tech, and
2) it is 100x more complicated to implement, so
3) there are very few people on the planet who understand how to do it, and
4) of those who do understand it, almost all of them are either
a) busy doing it for their own company, or
b) busy doing it for someone else who already waited a year for their turn
So what we needed was a knowledgeable and available person in a tiny subset of an already tiny population of people on earth. That person took a long time to find, and even after we found them it then took a long time to implement the technology because doing so is more of an art than a science and there's a lot of trial and error and testing/reiteration/re-testing.
But we got there, so my hope is that the Clariphonic DSP will be a much faster process!

Excellent, Greg. Just did had my first session using UBK on the 2Buss (32 bit version)-your ears must have been burning.
Thanks again for making 64bit happen

Gregory Scott - ubk | Thanks Greg (and the rest of your team) for all the effort and hard work in bringing us the 64-bit version. The UBK-1 was my favorite comp/tone bending plugin until I made the leap to 64-bit back in October. It will be nice to have this back in the arsenal again.
I have the hardware UBK Fatso and Clariphonic...but still look forward to having the Clariphonic DSP for mixing "ITB" when it becomes available in 64-bit as well!!

Gregory Scott - ubk | Thanks again for the great work! I just wonder why Pace are creating their own rocket science there ? I suppose it is a real pain for developers like to to have to run through a bottleneck like this...

Yep, stop using Pace !
It costs the companies a fortune, diminishes sales, prolongs releases
and causes legal users way more grieve, than acceptable ...
But then ... coding Your own Copy Protection ( like Waves, PSP, etc. etc. )
is probably an even bigger issue, for a hardware guy

Jan | Everyone not using Ilok gets cracked on day one more or less...I totally understand why Plug in dev´s feel the need to use it.

BINGO, and thank you for understanding that point, it's huge to me.
I want to develop compressors that turn a hard vocal into butter, and eq's that pull out notes and chords rather than random chunks of frequencies.
I do NOT want to spend one single second of my life developing, maintaining, and constantly updating/upgrading a proprietary copy protection scheme.
Life's too short, and ya gotta focus on what you do best!

Sadly their skills seem just enough, to program a toaster.
( since how many years is this Firefox promise on top of their site ??? )
and yes, this led/leads to some serious issues with their 'rocket' !
But ... to be fair ... the recent failures where not as harmful
as earlier 'oversights'.
