SamplesLoops Kick Pack- Tape Edition

Dear Gearslutz,

today I have released the "Kick Pack-Tape Edition" by Droptop Audio.

This samplepack contains 100 tape saturated kick drum samples (155 files including variations)- all synthesized/recorded from hardware machines, analogue synths, field recordings etc.

Producers of electronic club styles looking for some gritty kicks might find this little pack interesting.

Download some demo samples here

Check it out on: Kick Pack – Tape Edition | Droptop Audio

PS: For a 5 Euro discount enter promo code "Slut" during checkout.

Best Regards

What tape machine -- more details and photos. Otherwise, people may suspect that samples were run through another plug in emulation of a tape machine.

Sorry, but true

Dear DSpec1, fair enough, thanks for pointing this out.
I'm using an Otari MX55 D. It's a 1/4 machine that has served me well over the past three years.
Actually I only became aware of Gearslutz when searching for practical ways how to integrate this machine into digital setups. One member of this place, "Brad McGowan", had posted a video that shows a great technique to overcome the latency that occurs between recording and repro head.

As for photos-not sure if there's a restriction for members with a lower post count on posting photos (some forum do have this policy) but I'll check and get back to you.

BTW Apologies if some of my sentences sound weird- English is not my first language and it usually takes me forever to come up with something other than gibberish. So if anything might come across as rude or impolite it's most probably due to some language barrier.
