Interesting. Wonder how it compares to the violin in 'Gypsy' - which is the highlight of that particular package IMO, very playable/useable.

Uhh, I cringed at the bad transitions . The only playable solo violin so far is still the Garritan Stradivari. IMO.

This is just terrible. The 10 year old XSamples solo instruments have more realism than this.

Sound's like they just took the solo violin patch from their orchestra library and made a new product. Not very good sounding at all.

Demo's sound great,
but the fact that it is only 354 MB of samples makes me wonder ...

This was much, much better. However the demos mostly showed spiccato and staccato, which for the most part sounded pretty good to me. The few legato transitions that could be heard was still not convincing enough though.
