The Upright by Bluenoise Plugins released!

Hello people

I am proud to say that Bluenoise Plugins has released a stunning upright piano for a price of only 30 dollars! The name is as selfexplaining as could be: THE UPRIGHT
We continue to bring stunning quality to a very low price:-)

This piano will hopefully compare to the very best out there and holds 1 GB of pure 24 bit samples. It has a cutoff, leslie, chorus, reverb and a delay included so it can sound from classic upright to very old and swirly piano like Imagine with John Lennon.

Grab it now or try the fully working demo that has 2 octaves of the sound included.

The plugin works with most Windows sloution and is released as a 32 bit VST.

Direct link to the plugin: The Upright | Bluenoise Plugins

Hope you like it:-)

Best regards

Any chance on 64bit Vst because the demos on your website sound great, and a really great price to boot...

Ugh. You're killing me with the windoze only. This is exactly what I was looking for right now too...

If you could get this as a Mac AU or Kontakt Library - you would multiply your sales by a huge amount!

Thanks for the nice words guys!

I might get it to Kontakt library in the future but that would be without any of the effects I'm afraid. If that doesn't matter I see what I can do.

You Mac guys: get a cheap windows laptop and it as an external synth with midi in and out. Cheap and a great addition to your gear:-)

Wow! Beautiful sound, sounds like the real thing, has that complex authentic low end rumble that real pianos have when you record them!

I've been noticing a trend of plugin developers selling plugins for increasingly lower prices. Though I can't speak for the quality of all of them, I certainly can say some of them are really great.. I hope this trend continues

As for this, great demo.. good FX, but damn I already have a good upright piano sample library

also, just noticed on your front page

"So much better that the alternatives"...

should be

"So much better THAN the alternatives"

No PCs allowed in the immediate Mac area

Yeah the basic piano in Kontakt would be great, no FX needed, no FX on a real piano lol

thx

Hey BlueMusic - seriously - the piano just has a great "vibe" - I could hear myself using this on a lot of projects.

Please consider a Kontakt version (or maybe collaborate with someone who would be willing to do the conversion and scripting).

Like I said, I'd be confident it would be for itself and then some - you've already got some sales in this thread.

I'd recommend it to all the clients who I work with that I mix for and we exchange mix projects so generally, whatever I buy, they buy so we remain compatible.

Great product, great price, best of luck with it!

I'm also gonna chime in and say you need to make a kontakt version....that is of course unless your business model includes the idea of making less money.
I know that sounds crass, and perhaps you've expended all this energy for altruistic reasons...if not make a kontakt instrument.

Sounds really really good. I'm kind of digging the fact that it has effects. It kinda becomes it's own thing.

Might have to get this. $30 dollars is just silly. lol downloading demo

Guys, you really know how to put a smile on my face:-)
I will seriously consider a kontakt version. So many people has asked me with my Drummix line so I definately have to dig my head into this.

Sorry for my english on the webpage. I have spent too much time making plugs and to little time fixing typos I guess. I'll run through and correct now:-)

I'll let you know how things turn out.

Hehe. It's a fine balance my friend. I didn't get into playing in a band, owning a studio or creating plugins for the money. It was for the passion and love for music and creating stuff. I don't expect to be rich out of this, but it would be nice to get some money back from the insane amount of hours it takes to create theses babies:-)

I don't know the procedure to make a Kontakt library, but I will look into it now. I guess there are some bumps along the road, one being that the price has to be a little higher.

What do you people recommend me to set the price for a Kontakt Upright version? I guess everybody is yelling 30 dollars, but realisticly I guess Native Instrument want's their share.

As far as I know you can make your own scripts for Kontakt, it's all open.

Hopefully there will be a 64 bit in the nearest future, but I'm waiting on a updat on the program I'm using to build the interface. So it's not in my hands at the moment so to speak.

This is a very beautiful sounding upright vsti. And the price is a no brainer. As i already said in presonus forum, i really love the sound of it, i actually seek for one like it for a long time. This one sounds just like my upright, and that's great. The included FXs also fit the sound.
However, i managed to get it work in 64 bit after some hassle with jbridge. But it still freezes Studio One when i minimized the GUI and recall it again. Can you recommend me a working Jbridge setup for it?
When it works i will buy it right away then.
A native 64 bit support would still be better though. Oh, and a string resonance and some release sample as feature would be welcomed, although i know there's not much string resonance with uprights in real life, it could add some realness to it along with some release noise samples.

Oh, and keep your prices just like they are. Yeah, i kinda like this low price trend too!

Thanks for the great feedback!

I will look into the studio one issue with jbridge over the weekend. I'm on tour at the moment so I can't do anything from my laptop here. I'll keep you posted. It works fine in my Cubase/Nuendo 64bit test machine...

I've never heard of NI taking any kind of share of the profits from a Kontakt library. You make it, you sell it, you profit from it.
