Since Venue software is subsidized by hardware it's not going to be that.
2.9 cost me under $150.00 so my guess would be higher but the 32 track thing makes it worth not having to pack up a TDM rig when I am doing remotes.
It will be money well spent for me for that feature alone.
Drag and drop channels strips are cool too.

HEAT would have been awesome...and support for dual mono plugins. I want to use my mdw eq on the stereo guitar subgroup!!!
...and what about user defined fader scenes?
