Thanks, I've been trying to install it last night on my Mac, according to the installer, I can only install it on my startup disk instead of the internal HD that I used for my Komplete 8 Ultimate. I'm a bit reluctant to take up 25G + on my startup disc, is it possible to install it elsewhere? I tried copying the installed Abbey Road Drummers to my Komplete 8 HD but it seems the ServiceCentre only recognize and would only activate the ones on the startup disc.

During the install process you should be able to install the samples in your Komplete 8 folder using "other..." from the drop down menu during the install process. You can select the location when the installer window shows a line of information describing what is being installed, how big it is, and by default assumes an install in "Shared", if you click on this you will be able to select "Other..." and choose your sample drive location. There will be a small file installed on your OS drive in a secondary part of the install which must be some sort of identifier for Service Centre to recognize what libraries you have installed.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs!

Normally it's true for most other software installing, but with this Abbey Road Drummer, there were no options to install anything onto anywhere apart from the startup disc.

If you choose the startup disk you can then select a location for the 6GB+ sounds to install to an external disk (as thedomus mentioned above). The plugin itself has to go on the disk with MAC OSX on it, but the sample audio can go on any disk.

Thanks, but the problem is that the installer doesn't let me do anything apart from installing the whole thing onto the startup disk. I think maybe the only thing I can try is making an alias of the samples folder and put it onto another disk.
