If this has the same core audio path as their bigger monitor controller I will be very down for this... it's exactly what I have been looking for. I just hope the speaker volume control is a stepped switch and not a quadgang pot.

Very cool indeed! But seem more for the portable gig! Still want the ST for the controller. But i can wait to hear more details about it. Might do the job I need in house too.

I checked that out yesterday. The person I talked to said that it would sell for under $1000. I think that may be their first product that sells below the $1k mark. Nice job, Dangerous

I really hope they make it stepped or offer a stepped volume pot as an option.

Chris sounded pretty stoked about the DAC in this thing when I talked to him a week ago as he was finishing the prototype. I own an ST/SR but I'm totally stoked to pick one of these up for my location gigs (I do around 100 location gigs a year). I can't wait to get my hands on this thing...

did they say just a rough number...? ( currently thinking about an ST working together with a Liaison but might not need all features of the ST and wait for the Source )

| Talkback? You mean, like, to talk to other people in your studio? You have other people in your studio? This is not for you. - c

Bob had mentioned something about a little app for the iPhone that allows you to use your phone as a talk back plugged into the 1/8", but it wouldn't be hard to find a powered mic to plug into that input if you REALLY need talkback.
