oooh. the drum pads look enticing. mate those with the NordDrum or Logic and be all set.

[edit] it is likely USB MIDI only ... still cool though.

i would like to see a BCF 24 fader and it at all possible with a meter bridge. overall though for Behringer the gear looks a lot better, maybe it is bad DJ gear (great for the budget) but at least it doesn't look bad. Like Behringer mixers don't bother me much but they have the cheapest design to them, they could at least make them look nicer even with all plastic. over looks cool, not my deal though.

The CMD PL-1 could potentially be useful for DAWs, if it will be possible to use it as a jog/shuttle/transport controller. And the CMD DC-1 might be useful for Ableton Live and Bitwig (or even other DAWs), with all those numbered buttons.

But yes, updated BCFs and BCRs are overdue!

Sure, there are many producers that are DJ's too, so fair play. I am actually surprised that Behringer didn't step their game up in this market along time ago. There previous DJ midi controllers have been around for years and needed a remix.

But, back to producing, I am wondering when Behringer is going to come out with a production controller. Again, their existing range is old and pretty basic. Not that they ever make any thing that is great quality, but some of their newer mixers have been looking interesting, so maybe their might be something better to come from them.

I really like the full dj controller. I've been looking for a nice controller for the studio for some basic live stream mixes on bassdrive.com that isn't vestax. At 199 if it works well and the build quality is good then I'm jumping on it. Though there last series of dj controllers were junk. Crap software and the first iteration was 32bit only. On top of that it just didn't work right.

I'll wait for the reviews.

If they could pump out something like the tascam us2400 it would sell like crazy.

If these hold up to a physical beating and no electronics failure after 6mo/1yr, this is actually very impressive.

Anyone at NAMM physically touch these? How do they feel? Sturdy/Reliable?

Not sure about the same design, but I've always thought that if they could do a BCF / BCR 2 with scribble strips (and better faders), that even coming at at £500 a pop they would sell truckloads. I love my BCF, and only prefer the MCU because of the scribble strips and fader feel.
