There all seems to be a sudden lack of interest, but we will all hear it and we will all want one. Let's hear it first.....

I think it's likely it will be Animoog in a hardware box. That would make
the most sense.

I really love the Taurus bass and yet, I am at first, very disappointed by the fact that the announcement was not for a thunderous modern 4 voice polyphonic moog instrument- a "Poly Phatty". One that i would not be able to afford but that would keep me crazed for phatty chords that i can't afford for years to come.. I will have this mini-me taurs sooner and will hope for poly phatty in the years to come!

Oh well. Maybe next time around.
Remember the details Moog used to describe the contest ... "to be unveiled at NAMM 2012 which takes place ..."

NAMM is over 10 days away, thus the Minitaur couldn't be the new synth they are referring to.

Well this is a namm announcement really, don't think they'll be another new Moog for at least a year. The 'pretty poly' will cometh....

That's a good, and valid observation.

Oh well... I guess we will have to just wait for Jan. 19th to arrive to know if Minituar was the New Synth they were referring to, or maybe there is something else they will announce at NAMM.

It would take too much focus off the minitaur to also launch a poly this namm..

personally I like their little dub step demo. Synth definitely sounds gorgeous. Can't wait to hear other tracks.

OMG a moog APP....I mean um of course it was bound to happen sometime......but seriously......though? It really is a no brainer with
this one. I might have to lose the blackberry and switch for this
APP alone. Seriously........
