Thank you Sean. I appreciate all the work you have put into giving us these wonderful plugs. Midi would just be the icing on the cake.

This shows that the plugins from ValhallaDSP are very very good, because people have blind faith that this new plugin is going to be very very good again. (And yes, it is!)

It also shows that people feel very comfortable with buying plugins from ValhallaDSP, and why shouldn't they? The customer support is nothing short of amazing. Take a look at Valhalla Room. How many amazing upgrades did we receive for free since purchasing it? It's insane, really!

some presets. "dark shores" resonates a bit, you can tweak the delay to get a different pitch.

Synth loop processed through uber mod - the thunder sound just prior to the end was caused by turning the diffusion knob from 100% to 0 very quickly

I liked it so much, I sent a buddy $50 so he could buy this as a Christmas present from me, but.....

No reply email with the authorization. Exactly the same as gregerlindberg. Hope it comes by Christmas

PM me your buddy's info, and I can let you know if I received the order. There are enough ÜberMods for everyone's stocking this year!

It is worth noting that I fill orders manually, and send out an email when it is complete. Often, when I am working, I am able to fill an order withing a minute or two after receiving it, so it looks like an automatic process, but sometimes I have to step away from the computer, for sleep and the like.

Thanks for the explanation Sean. Good to know. I know I for one want you getting enough sleep and food so you can continue with the great plugins.

I sent you a PM with the info. - THANKS!

As has been said many times, you're greatly appreciated.

Would be very cool to try to emulate the Lennon-voice-double effect with this plug and more. Some presets like Roland D, John L, harmonizer3000 and more

Any literature out there on how John Lennon got this sound? I presume you are talking about post-Beatles. Sounds like tape slap back, but it would be useful to see some studio stories about this era, beyond the typical "Phil Spector pulled a gun on him." Which covers a surprising large number of artists.

Also note all DAWs provide key mapping to midi, and if the have Novation or any other A brand you also have the Automap, M-AUDIO or AKAI equivalent of client.

Not sure if there is any value in providing this in the plugin as well?

Why, thank you ma'am! I appreciate your trust in fine workmanship, and will hold up your purchase as an example to all potential Valhalla DSP customers.

Attached is a photograph from the recent beefsteak dinner, held in order to celebrate the launch of ValhallaÜberMod. I am the strapping fellow with the fine mustache in the center. We had lashings of strong ale, heaps of rare beef and tomatoes, and enormous piles of toast points. Huzzah!

Will investigate about John Lennons effect once I am back from my trip in Italy and send you an email with related links and infos which hopefully give you all the needed information to find out how he did it. But maybe someone else here in the forum already knows it.

Here's a quick vocal echo preset:

<ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.0" presetName="VocalEcho" Mix="0.296000004" Depth="0.423000008" StereoWidth="0.5" Delay="0.0992000028" Feedback="0" Spread="0.5" Slope="0.5" Skew="0.779999971" Random="0" TapGain="0.5" Diffusion="0.5" DiffSize="0.0204081628" DiffModRate="0.0490490496" DiffModDepth="0.5" LowCut="0" HighCut="0.156281412" SpatialXover="0.145728648" DetuneRate="0.0490490496" DetuneDepth="0.5" VibratoRate="0.298245579" VibratoDepth="0" OverMod="0" DriveInGain="0.375" DriveOutGain="0.616666675" DriveNoiseGain="0.333333343" FeedbackRotate="0.5" SmoothingTime="0.0990990996" ColorMode="1" DelaySync="0" type="0" DiffEnable="0" Drive="1" DrivePrePost="0" Speed="0"/>

The next preset is a bit more of a "dual pitch shifter" preset, with reduced bandwidth to emulate older digital hardware, a bit of drive for reduced fidelity, detuned chorusing between left and right channels, and a slight amount of fixed delay difference between the channels:

<ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.0" presetName="VocalDualPitch" Mix="0.5" Depth="0.521000028" StereoWidth="0.5" Delay="0.0113000004" Feedback="0" Spread="1" Slope="0.5" Skew="0.272000015" Random="0" TapGain="0.5" Diffusion="0.5" DiffSize="0.0204081628" DiffModRate="0.0490490496" DiffModDepth="0.5" LowCut="0" HighCut="0.448241204" SpatialXover="0.145728648" DetuneRate="0.0490490496" DetuneDepth="0.5" VibratoRate="0.298245579" VibratoDepth="0" OverMod="0" DriveInGain="0.375" DriveOutGain="0.616666675" DriveNoiseGain="0.333333343" FeedbackRotate="0.5" SmoothingTime="0.0990990996" ColorMode="1" DelaySync="0" type="0" DiffEnable="0" Drive="1" DrivePrePost="0" Speed="1"/>

I've a real Dimension D and frankly, I can't be bothered whether Ubermod can sound the same or not.
But if anyone wants me to do a comparison...supply me with audio & Ubermod settings. Sean maybe?
I've time after the christmas craze...

Mister, actually i am not tried to reproduce dimension d sound.
Instead of this i've tried Ubermod on the same instrument/buses where i often used dimension d. vocal track, guitar track, back vocals bus, pads...
and in 99% of cases i liked ubermod because of more PRONOUNCED and WIDER effect. Dimension D is good )) But it is time to move forward for me.
