I love these guys. Everybody complains about the compromises and sonic sacrifices that the DAW age has brought, but check it out: creative, restless innovators like the kooks over at Audioease could not do this incredible stuff back in the all-analog age.

It's easy to take convolution technology for granted, but it's really kind of a weird miracle that you can get your computer to transport you to disparate virtual exotic environments from around the world. Yes, it's not the real thing, but man, stop whining about that and revel in the possibilities that this technology allows you to explore! Imagine what The Beatles would do with it!

Cheers,

Chad

Exactly!
I've been enjoying convolution-technology for years now, and I've always had
excellent results with it.
I was blown away with the plugs of Tritone Digital, I guess that this is going
to be the future.
Who's going to find spare parts for an original Fairchild 660 in about 30 years?
I'm willing to accept the fact that hardware will be obsolete in xx years.
I think that convolution-technology is the 'cradle' for a lot of other technologies
that will appear in the near future.
Who knows what will be developed next, but it's going to be cool!

at first i thought it was more of a stripped down altiverb and was guessing $150 range.. but, the more i look at it, the more it seems like its own thing.. and, yeah, may be $350-ish...

I've been watching this product since it first reared it's head a few months back! Hopefully they will get something out soon as this is an instant purchase!
