Nor is the info as to if Sampletank for IOS is background audio/virtual midi compatible (yet) ?
So program change update great news, but coremidi, background audio, virtual midi are important specs a supposed market leader should a. Provide & b. inform on specs when provided !! | We do have this information publicly available. You're on your own for finding the links though.

"Coremidi compatible" is not currently in the specs of Sampletank on its app store or Ik Multimedia web page.
If you dont know the links to these .....?!?
That was my point , and two Ik multimedia web "advisors" have refused to acknowledge this point in this thread.
If you dont care that you're probably losing sales through basic marketing incompetence then fair enough,
though I find it ironic that you're all over the forums selling your wares whenever someone mentions IOS in a thread, but you cant even add "core midi compliant" to your own webpage/app page.
Unless ,as I asked earlier, you're trying to sell more Irigs by neglecting to mention to the app works with other devices..

I own Sampletank fully expanded for my iPad and love it and am glad to see it's continued development.. But I just checked the IK site and can't find any information regarding Sampletank support any Core Midi interface either. In fact, here's what the site says:
Two ways to play
You can use the iOS touchscreen to play your sounds, or use the new iRig MIDI to connect your keyboard or other MIDI device to your iPhone/iPod Touch and take full advantage of SampleTank for your live performances.
If a customer wasn't scouring the forums for information they could easily be led to believe that Sampletank only works with iRig for midi input, which of course is not the case.

2.More irig's sold under false beliefs.
3.Dishonest imho...

Sorry, I don't mean to leave you on your own. I would give you the links if I could. Unfortunately, the moderators are extremely hostile towards developers trying to provide support to you guys on Gearslutz. Obi has already been banned for posting links, and I will be next if I do.
Really sorry, man. I'm really not the one here saying "f'you." That's the bottom line for why I can't point you in the right direction here. We can address product specific issues on our company forum.

The question was why you dont add " coremidi compatible" to app store and website specs , which you STILL refuse to answer.
"providing support to you guys on the forum" is a joke , most of the time you're blazenly touting for sales.
And avoiding answering questions about basic specs that any normal company would highlight is not " support ".
The irony here is that for all your usual overblown hype and hyperbole and corporate falseness, for once your product has finally included a feature people want....and you dont want to tell anybody ?
Are you ashamed it works with other midi devices ?
I would be more ashamed of when your apps only worked with your hardware...the gift of midi to music technology was as an open protocol , and for a company to profit from its' manufacture yet restrict its users to only use their software seemed unethical to me and what turned me off your company morally, even before I realised with no audiocopy/paste , virtual midi, background audio your apps were useless to me anyway.
So hang out the flags and sound the trumpets for update 1.2 ..program change has been implemented.
The big four features in IOS are : Coremidi ? Audiocopy/paste ? Virtual midi ? Background audio ?
Sampletank has None according to the specs , maybe one if you search Gearslutz .

SampleTank and iRig MIDI have both always supported CoreMIDI from the start. We routinely mention that when talking about them. Honestly, I can't recall this ever being questioned before. It's always taken as a given. So a need to emphasize that probably wasn't really taken into account in the IK website redesign. I'll pass your concerns along to the web department, thanks.

So today two new amazing synths come to the Ipad, Magallen and Cassini...from initial release they both have implemented Coremidi, Background Audio,Virtual Midi and AudioCopy !
When will Ik Multimedia get the message?
P.S. Sorry to advertise other software in your thread, but having recently come across Obik advertising his IRig MIcrophone and other apps in the Hexler TouchOsc User Forum , it seems only fair.
