It works in REAPER, but:

- GUI doesn't show up
- cpu use default ~19%
- cpu use at 8x OS ~40%

There's no reason an 8x oversampling routine should push the cpu use up that high imo.

Sounds cool! I played with it a bit on Win7 a little while ago thumbsup

Unfortunately, I only have Logic 9.1.3.

Can you, please, provide an output of this command (run in Terminal):
Code:
auval -v aufx MLT1 Vlad

Original GUI is not ported yet. Generic AU one provides an access to all parameters (except for GR/Limit display).

CPU usage FIXED! Please, redownload and reinstall.

Seems to work here with Logic 9.1.3 and I like what I hear. Except that looking at controls presented it got my attention that there is no way to switch the sidechain filter off. Looking at GUI screenshots it seems to be there in the Win VST version - http://vladgsound.files.wordpress.co...olot135en0.png.

Sounds pretty good! I've got Logic 9, and OS 10.6.7, and the GUI doesn't show up. I know it's not ported yet, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable using it with meters...

From just my ears, which is the most important, it seems pretty cool!

Please post if you get an update that has a working GUI for more systems, I'd love to check it out more!

Setting SideHP to a minimum (40 Hz) effectively switches it off.
It's the same in Windows VST version, but it has an additional switch for convenience.

This is good news! The VST is great so this AU should be awesome too.

I must admit that I was skeptical about this compressor, but I figured I'd give it a try. Since it's late night, I've been listening at low volumes on headphones and speakers and I've been very pleasantly surprised, especially with the 8X oversampling on in a 44.1 kHz session. I'll know more tomorrow when I run at a normal volume, but right now I'm really enjoying this and it's comparing quite favorably to some "name" comps. The sigma/alpha switch is quite interesting.

One suggestion would be to reverse the "dry/wet" label to "wet/dry" since those are the directions the fader moves in. It defaults to compression, so I doubt most people are going to have a problem, but it might cause some confusion.

Hi, I wanted to try this out so badly but the AU won't validate in Logic 7.1, OSX 10.4.11. Somebody else got this problem?

Logic 8, installed the AU version, but it does not show up in Logic. it does show up in the AU manager... re-installed, nothing.
