thanks, that sounds good! i'm interested in buying both of your products, for both windows and mac. it seems to me that i could better wait a few weeks then. will the 159 euro deal for both plugins still be valid with mac & windows in 1 license?

Yes, pricing will not change much in the near future. I will add new versions when needed. They will not be sold with additional fees. AAX versions (the new protools format needed for 64-bits) will be provided later on.

I do not give ETA's anymore. Sometimes things are fast sometimes things are slow.. Programming is not that easy while porting things over in other formats. I want to be sure things work well...

Fair enough. But seeing as you have the full OS X version working properly I didn't expect an ETA for the demo to be such a major issue.

I'm now subscribed to this thread and hopefully you'll post a notification here once the demo versions are ready.

Found the isssue and fixed it. I am planning to upload the demo this weekend. I am in the process of building an installer for the mac so that the files go automatically into the right directories. It is never easy to make it easy...

I don't get the new protection. I downloaded and installed the latest Dim D (VST and RTAS) versions from my account, and whenewer I press on the ERS logo it gives me popup window:

Naam: Betatest (WTF???)

Organisation: ERS

Serialnumber: Please Register (would like to know how to do it. I tried to paste the keyfile I got with the installer in many different folders with no success???)

Registration: 0 days left (WTF again?)

Can someone help me with this registration process? Thanks in advance.

Did you send me an email?? Registration is done by sending me an email..... For some obvious resons I did not build my registration inside my website.

In my email I will give the keyfile for mac and the Registrator for PC. If you have the PC version just start the Registrator. There is no need to drag the keyfile anywhere, the registrator does that for you. The mac version needs the keyfile to be send to a place like named in the zip file. If that does not work please email me using our support email adres.

Kind regards,

Harrie

The demo for Mac is online. You will download a zip file with instructions inside how to install it... I am still working on the installer but that takes more time...

Enjoy our chorus!

Splendid news Harrie. I've been waiting to see how this compares to the UAD version.

Cheers,

JM

I just downloaded the demo zip but it contains no installation instructions, just the AU, VST and keyfile.

How do I install the keyfile?

Cheers.

I am uploading a new version with the how to install... The information needed is also here:

To get this version of the ERS Dimension D Chorus to work there are some things that need to be done manually. Some files need to be placed manually.

Where to place the files:

VST -> /Users/admin/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
AU -> /Users/admin/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
Keyfile -> /Users/admin/Documents/Empty Room Systems

The last directory (/Users/admin/Documents/Empty Room Systems) need to be made manually.

When anything goes wrong please email us, using support at emptyroomsystems com

Honestly blows the UAD away. Retains a lot more integrity of the original signal while applying the effect

Harry, would it be possible to have the knobs display it's numerical value while adjusting it? A value from 1 through 100 would probably be fine enough, although maybe you could do extremely fine adjustments with the CNTL. key possibly? As an option, of course. This would make fine adjustments much easier and precise for me.

Loving this thing as usual!

Yeah, a CNTL adjustment would be nuts. I don't know exactly why, but knob behaviour is kind off odd sometimes. Maybe is because you have to switch from up to down with the mouse when you get into the knob middle area...

Thanks!

I'll look what I can do.. There are several modes possible with ballons and editable ballons.

For now: you can try the velocitysensitive mode of the knobs. When moving the mouse slowly it can be extremely fine adjusted.

I already sent this message to Harrie directly but I thought I'd repost it here as I've been demoing 'Dim D' this weekend.

"I'm very impressed so far with the quality of Dim D and will very likely be purchasing it. ITB chorus is a bit of a holy grail for me and I think you've nailed it. I'm hoping to compare it to the Valhalla UberMod if Sean manages to get his plug out in the next 30 days but for the price will likely buy it anyway unless there's too much duplication in the achievable results. Spanks the UAD version too (which is a good thing because I'm looking to move away from the UAD platform)."

That is the limitation without the keyfile or the keyfile on wrong location. Did you use the ERSregistrator? If you did not get it, please send me an email, so I can send you the ERSRegistrator.
