Chandler Limited / EMI TG 12413 Plug-in Updated

Chandler Limited and EMI/Abbey Road Studios announce version 1.0.1 of the EMI TG 12413 Limiter plug-in for Pro Tools. This version resolves instability some TDM users reported under 1.0, and is recommended for all TDM users. There are no changes to the LE version of the plug-in.

Please note this is a FREE upgrade. To update a plug-in to version 1.0.1, download the demo version of the plug-in and drop the dpm file into your plug-in folder. This will not affect any authorizations.

The EMI TG 12413 demos have also been updated to version 1.0.1 and may be downloaded here:

I downloaded the demo, installed the license on my ilok key, but when the plug in tries to load it says it can finds the license. What gives?? I'd love to check this plugin out.

We are seeing tons of action on the Waves SSL threads.

What about these puppies?

Is anyone loving these?

If so, these guys need some hype! It's all about Waves lately.

By the way, I easily picked the real SSL in that shootout. Not tooting my own horn but pointing out that we still do need some kick ass in the box comps if it was that easy to tell the difference between hardware and software.

Are these the kick ass comps we are all hoping for? I can't tell you cause I also can't get my demo to work.

We're working on the other formats right now. They should be done this spring.
I'll be sure to post on here so everyone knows when they're going to be ready.

I can't speak for the plugin as I'm waiting for the vst version... but the real one is pretty cool on the drum bus.

I agree. It needs some hype, and those two letters, AU, of course

Hi guys-
I am told we are five weeks from beta on VST and AU.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS THE WORD OF GOD. As we know these things can change. But we are hard at work on them and will have it soon :-)

If anyone is having trouble with the installation. All you have to do is download the demo, unzip, put the plug file into your plug in folder, and sync your ilok. Once you have done these things you should be running...

Cheers

How do you get hold of the manual and presets when the download page only gives you the actual plugin?

Chandler Plug-In

I have been super pleased with the Chandler/EMI plugin. It's not gonna work for everything, but it has fantastic "tone". I love the limiter setting. It's now one of my go to comp/limiter choices.
